Exploring Saint Kitts

With a rental car from Basseterre, we set out to explore the highlights of Saint Kitts — and every stop revealed something new. We started at the famous Timothy Hill Overlook, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea in a breathtaking panorama. From there, we drove to The Narrows, the narrowest point between Saint Kitts and Nevis, and wandered through the tropical gardens of Caribelle Batik at Romney Manor, known for its handmade textiles and historic setting.

We continued to the beaches of Friars Bay and Frigate Bay, both perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or sipping a Caribbean cocktail at a beach bar. A visit to Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, was one of the highlights — the views from the old fortress walls are incredible. Finally, we ended the day at the dramatic Black Rocks, where volcanic cliffs meet the crashing waves of the Atlantic.
