Galapagos Islands: Isla Isabela
The Galapagos in Ecuador is one big animal paradise. Nowhere in the world can you see wild animals so easily in their natural environment. We went island hopping on the Galapagos Islands for a few weeks. In an earlier episode you could already see that we landed on Santa Cruz, the most central island. From here we go one with our Galapagos island hopping adventure to the next one: Isla Isabela.
How to get there
From mainland Ecuador we took a plane to the island of Baltra. From here we travel to Puerto Ayora on the island Santa Cruz. After turning this island completely inside out, we took a ferry boat to the island of Isla Isabela. Then we also visited the island of San Cristóbal. Are you curious about our adventures? In this video we show you all the highlights island hopping in the Galapagos, the island of Isla Isabela.
What to do on Isla Isabela
We go on a snorkeling tour with Rebecca Adventure Travels to Los Túneles, a famous dive site full of wildlife. We see sharks, rays, penguins, blue-footed boobies, turtles and much more. We also walk along lagoons with flamingos and we explore the island. At Concha de Perla we even snorkel with playful sea lions!
