New Zealand’s most beautiful hike
During our tour in New Zealand we keep being told that there is one big must-do on the North Island: the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. But, this is certainly not suitable for everyone! It is quite an ordeal and, especially in bad weather, it can be a hell of a job climbing the highest peaks of the Central Plateau. People actually train to do this whole day long hike to the tops and down again. Anyway, we are determined to do the Tongariro Crossing and what was the weather like?
