Galapagos Islands: San Cristóbal
Welcome to Sea Lion heaven: Galapagos island San Cristóbal. The Galapagos in Ecuador is one big animal paradise. Nowhere in the world can you see wild animals so easily in their natural environment. In two previous episodes you could already see that we landed on Santa Cruz, the most central island. Then we took the boat to Isla Isabela, for a snorkeling tour at Los Túneles, a famous dive site full of wildlife. Now we are on the third island called San Cristóbal.
How to get there
From mainland Ecuador we took a plane to the island of Baltra. From here we travel to Puerto Ayora on the island Santa Cruz. After turning this island completely inside out, we took a ferry boat to the island of Isla Isabela. To get to the third island San Cristóbal, we have to sail back to Santa Cruz first. From here we take another ferry to San Cristóbal.
