Located on Thailand’s stunning Andaman Coast, Krabi is where dramatic limestone cliffs meet turquoise water and endless adventure. The lively beach town of Ao Nang is the perfect base to explore the region — from island-hopping to hidden lagoons and epic viewpoints.

We spent several days here, using Ao Nang as our “home port” while filming our island adventures and exploring both land and sea. With its mix of cozy cafés, tropical beaches, and easy day-trips, this is one of our favorite coastal stops in Southern Thailand.

Railay Beach

Accessible only by boat, Railay Beach feels like a tiny paradise cut off from the world. Surrounded by towering cliffs and clear blue water, it’s a must-visit for climbers, sun-seekers, and sunset lovers alike.

Island-Hopping from Ao Nang

Take a traditional longtail boat to the Four Islands — Phra Nang Cave Beach, Chicken Island, Tup Island, and Poda Island. The water is crystal clear, perfect for snorkeling, swimming, and those iconic sandbar photos.

Adventures in Krabi

Krabi is famous for rock climbing, kayaking through mangrove forests, and exploring caves. Don’t miss the Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Sua) — a climb of 1,200 steps rewards you with panoramic views across the province.
