Cuba is the land of cigars, salsa music and mojitos. On the other hand, there is also the rich history! Is the country at the top of your list? But don’t know where to start planning? In my latest episode I take a tour of the highlights of Cuba. Together with Suus and my son Jens we road trip between the classic cars! We show the contrast between the culture in Havana and nature in the deepest jungle. We also visit the pearly white beaches. Anyone planning a trip to Cuba can enjoy a preview in this episode. I’ll show you what the largest and most special country in the Caribbean has to offer!

The route
The most beautiful nature in Cuba can be found in Topes de Collantes: beautiful green mountains and wonderful waterfalls. We even take a dip in the wonderfully fresh mountain water! A bit of history is also part of it when we visit the grave monument of Ché Guevara in Santa Clara. Finally, a dive into the underwater world of Cuba should not be missed. That’s why we also travel to the Bay of Pigs for snorkeling. In short, open the video and join the adventure!
Like many tourists, we also start in the most beautiful seaside resort of Varadero. We then travel on to the old capital Havana. Then we head further east to the city of Cienfuegos, a European-inspired arts hotspot. The biggest contrast is found a little further away in Trinidad. Time has completely stood still there since 1850.
