Cape Town to Kruger Park, South Africa
This is the perfect guide to your next road trip in South Africa!
In Cape Town we pick up our 4×4 camper with roof tents. This will be our means of transport in Africa for the coming weeks. We go back to basics and camp at the most beautiful places along the way.
We start our road trip in Cape Town and visit the highlights between Cape Town and the border with Namibia: The Western Cape and the Kalahari Desert, also known as Kgalagadi Transfontier Park. This is one of the best safari trips we have ever done! A very quiet area, with lots of wild animals. This park is not visited nearly as often as the famous Kruger Park and that is what makes it so special. We spot lots of wild animals and feel completely at one with nature.

After Namibia we cross the border to Botswana. You can watch this video here. The last country before we arrive back in South Africa is Zimbabwe. Of course we also made a video of this. You can watch it here.
A trip to South Africa is not complete without a visit to Kruger Park. This is the most famous and largest National Park in all of Africa. It is also the best place to spot wildlife. We see the entire Big Five!
